We have a partnership with the Aspen Community Foundation to disperse rental or mortgage assistance funds to community members in the RFV. To access the funds individuals and families should call 970.927.4666 and ask about rental or mortgage assistance funds. If you are struggling to make ends meet, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Through our research, we have found that social determinants are just as important as physiological and behavioral interventions in improving the health of a community. Social determinants of health (SDOH) are the conditions in the environments where people live that affect a wide range of health outcomes – including housing, economic stability, food access, education access and quality, ease of transportation, and neighborhood amenities/quality. Improving measures in even some of these measures can create cascading impacts of mental wellbeing which address problems that therapy and in-clinic care are sometimes unable to affect, and to that end, our rental assistance program is dedicated to making our patients’ lives more manageable and preventing homelessness from high costs of living in the area.
